Geology of Britain viewer - geology maps from the British Geological Survey.

Ian West - excellent introduction to many aspects of Wessex geology. Links are provided at the bottom of Ian's  homepage (after the pictures).

Geoconservation Kent - includes ‘Wealden News’, the newsletter of Wealden geology.

Eocene & Oligocene fossils - a useful site for identifying your Palaeogene fossils.

UK Fossils Network - fossils and fossil collecting localities in the UK.

British Chalk Fossils - apparently everything you wanted to know.

Natural History Museum, London - the premier natural history museum in the UK.

The Palaeontological Association - download back copies of the journal (Vol 1, 1957 to Vol. 41, 1998) free by selecting Publications then Palaeontology Online.

Earth Heritage - web site for the Joint Nature Conservation Committee. Access the Geological Conservation Review Series and the magazine, Earth Heritage.
